Do I need a special gel when using Booster Pro?

No. Booster Pro applies frequencies optimized for facial muscles, so no special gel is required. Simply use it alongside your regular skincare products.

What is the recommended order and frequency for using each mode?

Please make sure to check the recommended usage frequency before use, and adjust the frequency and duration according to your skin condition.

Air Shot Mode: Use 2–3 times a week / 5 minutes per session
Booster, MC, Derma Shot Modes: Use 1–3 times daily / 5–10 minutes per session

Start with Air Shot on clean, dry skin before applying any skincare, then use Booster, MC, and Derma Shot with your regular skincare.

How should I use skincare when using the booster, mc, and derma shot modes?

Absorb a light serum and ampoule in booster mode, then follow with a rich, viscous cream/gel formulation. After booster mode care, use mc mode and derma shot mode with the remaining amount on the skin without applying additional skincare. If the intensity feels too low, add additional product.

Can all 4 modes be used around the eyes?

All four modes of Booster Pro can be used around the eyes, and we recommend using level 1 for areas with thin skin, such as around the eyes, nose, and mouth.

It’s too bright even when I close my eyes. The LED seems to be too strong. Is this okay?

It may feel too bright, but it has no effect on your eyes and is safe to use. However, if there is a lot of product on the head and the central LED operates even without contact with the skin, be careful of direct eye exposure. For your comfort, you can turn off the LED through the app if needed.

Can I use it together with vitamin or retinol products?

The light that reacts with vitamin ingredients is ultraviolet (UV) light, which has wavelengths ranging from 10–400 nm. Considering this, Booster Pro uses visible light with different wavelengths, and since the shortest wavelength exceeds 400 nm, they do not affect vitamin ingredients and can be used together safely.

However, depending on your skin condition, using the AGE-R device together with products containing retinol or vitamin ingredients may cause stronger irritation. We recommend first using the device with basic skincare products so your skin can gradually adapt to the stimulation. Afterward, when using products containing retinol (or vitamins), start from the lowest intensity level.

What skin concerns is it recommended for?

For those looking to care for skin firmness, the appearance of pores, and overall radiance — even more effective when used alongside your favorite skincare products.

Is it defective if there are scratches on the device head?

We used surgical steel, which is commonly used in medical devices such as scalpels and syringe needles, for the device head. While it is non-allergenic and rust-resistant, slight scratches may occur during the manufacturing or cleaning process due to the characteristics of surgical steel.
The lines on the booster pro LED section are not scratches but marks formed during plastic production. It is safe to use and is not defective.

Additionally, while the Deep Shot combines RF and ultrasound waves, recommended for use 2-3 times a week, the UltraTune combines RF and MC technology, making it suitable for daily use.

Can I use it daily?Yes, it can be used daily. You can use it 1 to 3 times a day, and for each session, we recommend using it for 5 to 10 minutes. However, since everyone's skin condition is different, please adjust the usage frequency and time according to your skin's needs.

Do I need to use a special gel with it?Ultra Tune can be used without a special gel. Just ensure that your basic skincare products have been fully absorbed before using the device.

HOW TO USE

2. Retrieve a pad. Take out one facial toner pad from the packaging. Make sure to close the package promptly to prevent the other pads from drying out.
3. Apply the toner pad to your face. Simply swipe the toner-soaked pad across your face, using gentle and upward motions. Start from the center of your face and move outward. Be cautious around the eye area, and avoid getting the products in your eyes.
4. Pay attention to problem areas. If you have areas that require extra attention, you can focus on those areas by applying a bit more pressure with the toner pad or leaving them on for 5-10 minute.
5. Follow up with your skincare routine. If you are done using the pad, discard the used pad. After the toner residue has absorbed into the skin, proceed with the rest of your skincare routine, including serums, moisturizers, or sunscreen.

Sheet Mask Boost Mode is designed to be used over a sheet mask to help maximize the absorption of the remaining essence, supporting deeper hydration and a more radiant-looking glow.
AI Mode analyzes your skin condition and skincare habits to recommend a personalized care routine. This feature is available exclusively through the AGE-R App.

Can I use Mask Mode with a gel mask?

We recommend using Mask Mode with essence-rich sheet masks rather than gel masks. Sheet masks that contain plenty of essence help the device glide comfortably while supporting better skincare absorption. For the best experience, pair Mask Mode with medicube sheet masks.

Do I need the AGE-R App?

No. You can use the device without the app using its standard modes. However, we recommend installing the AGE-R App to access advanced features such as AI Mode, Dual Mode customization, remote control, and personalized reports.
Some features, including AI Mode and Dual Mode customization, are available only through the app.

Which app do I need?

Download the AGE-R App, create a free account, and connect your Booster Pro X2 via Bluetooth.

Does the device automatically reconnect?

Yes. Once paired, Booster Pro X2 automatically reconnects to your smartphone via Bluetooth when the device is turned on.

Can I use Booster Pro X2 every day?

Most modes are suitable for daily use. Air Shot Mode is recommended 2–3 times per week, while the remaining modes can generally be used 1–3 times daily depending on your routine.

Which skincare products work best with Booster Pro X2?

The device works well with hydrating and nourishing skincare, such as serums, ampoules, creams, and sheet masks. For the best experience, we recommend pairing the device with medicube's PDRN, Collagen, and other moisturizing skincare lines, as well as medicube sheet masks.
If you're using products with exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA/PHA), retinol, or high concentrations of vitamin C, we recommend introducing them gradually. If you're new to these ingredients or have sensitive skin, start with lower frequency or avoid using them with the device until your skin has adjusted. Always follow the product's usage instructions.

Are there any areas I should avoid when using the device?

Yes. Avoid using the device directly over the Adam's apple (front of the neck) and do not use it too close to the eyes. For a comfortable and safe experience, always follow the recommended treatment areas and instructions in the user guide.

Is Booster Pro X2 suitable for sensitive skin?

The device offers six adjustable intensity levels, allowing you to start at a lower level and gradually increase as your skin becomes accustomed to the treatment.

How long should each mode take?
